Job summary

NourishedRx seeks a Director / Senior Director, Data & Analytics to lead the Data, Analytics & Insights function end-to-end. Reporting to the CTO, this leader will own the strategy and operating model for how data is ingested, governed, modeled, analyzed, exchanged, and translated into decisions across the company.

This role spans data engineering, BI, reporting, client data exchange, and governance, with responsibility for delivering trusted data capabilities that support members, healthcare

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership in data, analytics, BI, or data engineering.
• Experience leading a combined data engineering and analytics function.
• Strong SQL fluency and dbt proficiency; can review code and diagnose data issues.
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms and BI/semantic tools.
• Experience using AI-assisted software or data engineering approaches.

Responsibilities

• Own vision, strategy, roadmap, and operating model for Data, Analytics & Insights.
• Coach and develop a data team while staying hands-on when needed.
• Partner with Engineering on data architecture, pipelines, and governance.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices across Data and Engineering.
• Oversee modern data/BI ecosystem (BigQuery, dbt, Omni Analytics) and self-service analytics.
• Define governance for metrics, dashboards, and semantic models.
• Lead client-facing analytics, including recurring reporting and ROI discussions.
• Manage data exchanges (SFTP/API feeds) and data-quality controls.
• Ensure data privacy, security, and HIPAA-compliant governance.
