Job summary

Sidley Austin LLP in Illinois seeks a Program Management Director to lead the Data & AI organization, a cross-functional team of ~100 professionals across AI Engineering, Data Engineering, UX Design, Product Management, and Data Governance.

This leader will establish rigorous program management, drive Agile practices, dashboards, OKRs, and governance, while mentoring two Program Managers and partnering with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, CS or related field.
• 10+ years in program/project management with leadership experience.
• Proven cross-functional leadership and executive communication.
• Deep Jira/Confluence proficiency and roadmap tooling experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end program management across Data & AI initiatives.
• Standardize Agile practices, Jira workflows, sprint planning, reporting.
• Develop executive dashboards for portfolio health and dependencies.
• Define and track OKRs/KPIs with leadership; govern program reviews.
• Mentor and grow a team of Program Managers; drive accountability.
