Job summary

Texas Capital Bank seeks an Information Security Director to lead enterprise data protection, security architecture, and third‑party cyber risk management across on‑prem, cloud, and endpoints. You will own the operating model, govern standards, and drive measurable security outcomes while partnering with Incident Response teams.

This role reports to the CISO, leads a team of security architects, and coordinates risk assessment, vendor security addenda, and incident response readiness to protect

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field.
• 10+ years in information security including leadership across data protection, security architecture, or risk.
• Experience building governance-driven security programs with measurable outcomes.
• Ability write enforceable vendor security requirements and manage risk-based governance.
• Experience operationalizing vendor risk lifecycle (tiering, due diligence, remediation, monitoring).
• Strong stakeholder management with legal, privacy, IT, and business leadership.
• Experience implementing scalable data protection models (classification, DLP, tagging).
• Experience managing third-party cybersecurity risk programs including due diligence and incident response.
• Cloud security architecture experience across major providers.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Protection (on‑prem, cloud, endpoint) strategy and operating model.
• Provide Security Architecture leadership for enterprise blueprint and reviews.
• Own Third‑Party Cyber Risk management and due diligence lifecycle.
• Oversee 3rd Party Cyber Incident Response readiness and coordination.
