OVERVIEW:

This role will develop best-in-class promotions and deal strategies on Amazon (and other Marketplaces over time) for our different customer segments to generate conversions and growth. They will then drive the execution of those strategies by establishing the right operational processes and enablement for our Customer Success and other client-facing teams.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 7+ years relevant leadership experience in Client Services, Ecommerce Management, or similar roles
  • People management experience leading account managers, client services, ecommerce managers, or similar teams at an ecommerce agency or accelerator
  • Experience with Amazon promotions and deals required
  • Experience with Amazon ads and retail media is a plus
  • Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams across geographies and business units, strong communication skills, and demonstrated track record driving complex projects to completion

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Develop client strategies: Create best practices for running Amazon promotions, deals and coupons that complement customers’ advertising programs to meet their growth and profitability objectives
  • Drive execution: Translate client strategies and best practices into scalable processes and actionable playbooks for our client-facing teams to guide their weekly, monthly and quarterly engagements with customers. Ensure consistent adoption of these best practices and playbooks, and continuously optimize them to drive the intended client results
  • Enablement: Establish programs and systems to train our Customer Success Managers and other client-facing teams on the best practices and playbooks you build
  • Innovation: Create processes for consistent experimentation and testing of new techniques and strategies to drive client results as our marketplace platforms partners evolve
  • Build and lead team: Establish and lead a small team of promotions strategists to be subject matter experts and partner with our Customer Success Managers to advise on client promotions
  • Align across functions: Serve as the internal "quarterback" cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, Customer Success, etc.) to implement client strategies and best practices
