Base pay range

$160,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Director of Customer Marketing to drive adoption, expansion, and advocacy across Perceptyx’s customer base through high-impact communications, campaign execution, and event programming. This role leads a small team responsible for customer marketing, events, and integrated campaign operations — with a strong focus on customer lifecycle messaging, cross-functional coordination, and event execution.

What You'll Do:

As the Director of Customer Marketing, you’ll be the strategic and hands-on lead driving the way we engage our customers — from onboarding to advocacy. You'll manage a small but mighty team focused on lifecycle messaging, campaign execution, and high-impact events like our annual customer conference, INSIGHTS.

  • Lead the creation of communications that drive adoption, retention, and upsell opportunities.
  • Develop and manage newsletters, product launches, and solution-specific nurture journeys.
  • Support customer advocacy through case studies, testimonials, and referral programs.
  • Plan and execute integrated campaigns across email, webinars, and events.
  • Manage timelines, QA processes, and stakeholder updates with precision.
  • Use data and insights to measure performance and continuously improve results.
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing on campaign strategy and messaging alignment.
  • Own the execution of our flagship INSIGHTS customer conference — from session planning to logistics.
  • Lead select third-party sponsorships, coordinating booth materials and post-event engagement in tandem with Sales and Customer Success.
  • Maintain campaign calendars and ensure cross-team visibility.
  • Equip GTM teams with internal roundups and enablement materials to drive alignment.
  • Mentor and manage a team of customer marketing pros.
  • Set clear goals and foster a culture focused on customer success and measurable impact.

What We're Looking For:

  • 8+ years of combined marketing experience, focusing on these areas: customer lifecycle communications, campaign execution, and event logistics.
  • 3+ years in a team leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Solid cross-functional collaborator and stakeholder manager.
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Marketo, Salesforce, Zoom, ON24, or similar.
  • Deep understanding of B2B SaaS marketing, especially post-sale motions.
  • Bonus points if you’ve worked in the HR Tech or Employee Experience (EX) space.
  • A commitment to inclusive collaboration and working with people of diverse backgrounds.

Compensation:

Perceptyx is focused on equitable pay for all our staff and aims for transparency with our pay practices. The total compensation for this position is an annual salary range of $160,000.00 - $170,000.00 plus an annual manager incentive percentage. The above range represents the expected compensation for this position. The actual annual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
