Job Summary
Responsible for on-going, effective operation of critical care services, and for on-going assessment and improvement of the departments’ activities. Integrates departments into overall function and goals of Hospital. Director is responsible for supervising staff and the operation and overall flow of the unit, and is a role model for all staff. Responsible for ensuring staff meets the approved Standards of Practice, for managing assigned personnel and unit activities and for promoting cooperative working relationships with physicians and other health care providers. He/she ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner consistent with the unit's standard of care. Assists in planning, organizing, directing, delegating, and evaluation. Facilitates quality outcomes of patient care and provides leadership in the practice environment.


Job Requirements
a. Minimum Education Requirement :

BS/BSN. MSN preferred.


b. Minimum Experience Requirement :
5 years acute hospital experience. 3 years leadership experience. Excellent customer service skills required. Understanding of critical care principles/monitoring for critical care.


c. Minimum License Requirement :
California RN License. BLS and ACLS required.
