Fitch is seeking a Director—Covenant Analyst in New York to lead covenant research for the leveraged finance market. The role emphasizes insightful analysis of credits, drafting rigorous research, and presenting findings to a professional audience.

You will deconstruct complex covenants, explain financial definitions, and engage with subscribers through calls and webinars. A senior lawyer with 6+ years in leveraged finance is preferred, with strong writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate is a senior lawyer with extensive experience drafting, negotiating, and reviewing leveraged finance documentation, including credit agreements or indentures.

Responsabilités

• Write covenant-related research and reports for high yield and investment grade covenants.
• Prepare event-driven research and updates on special situations as they develop.
• Develop covenant primers for subscribers with clear explanations of terms and market implications.
• Author market-leading reports on trends and developments in leveraged finance.
• Participate in thought leadership presentations and webinars for subscribers and prospects.
• Engage with subscribers to clarify research and discuss potential transactions.
• Establish credibility as a subject matter expert on leveraged finance.
