Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in business, science, medicine, engineering, or a related field strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in biotech/pharma business development, investor relations, corporate strategy, or similar roles.
• Experience evaluating partnerships or licensing opportunities, including due diligence, valuation, and transaction support.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ability to translate science into investor/board materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine Vesalius's enterprise strategy, portfolio priorities, and long-range plan.
• Lead market, competitive, and financing analyses to inform strategy and board discussions.
• Identify and prioritize licensing, collaboration, and external growth opportunities; lead or coordinate diligences and deal structuring.
• Prepare executive and board materials and support annual planning and milestone tracking.
• Shape investor engagement strategy and develop materials connecting science progress to enterprise value.
