Stoke Therapeutics, headquartered in Bedford, MA, now moving to a new location in Waltham, MA by end of 2026, is seeking a Director of Corporate Strategy. The role partners with senior leaders to drive enterprise-wide strategic planning, governance processes, and key cross-functional initiatives in a biotech environment.
You will translate strategy into measurable goals, manage Board meetings and leadership reviews, and guide the governance framework and decision-making processes.

Using Stoke’s proprietary TANGO (Targeted Augmentation of Nuclear Gene Output) approach, Stoke develops antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) to selectively restore naturally-occurring protein levels. Stoke’s first medicine in development, zorevunersen, has demonstrated disease‑modifying potential in patients with Dravet syndrome and is currently being evaluated in a Phase 3 study. The company focuses on central nervous system and eye diseases caused by loss of ~50% of normal protein levels (haploinsufficiency), with proof of concept in other organs, tissues, and systems. Stoke is headquartered in Bedford, Massachusetts.
The Director, Corporate Strategy partners closely with leaders across the organization to drive enterprise‑wide strategic planning, governance processes, organizational planning, and high‑priority cross‑functional initiatives. This position reports to the VP, Corporate Strategy and Chief of Staff and requires a highly collaborative leader with strong biotech/pharmaceutical experience, exceptional communication and organizational skills, and the ability to navigate complex, matrixed environments.
Stoke is located in Bedford, MA, and will move to a new location in Waltham, MA by the end of 2026. This position is start‑in‑Bedford and later based in Waltham.
Approximately 5% travel.

Anticipated salary range: $229,000 - $246,000. Final offer will be determined based on role scope, experience, qualifications, education, market benchmarks, internal equity, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the role includes an annual bonus and equity participation.
