The National Eczema Association (NEA) is the largest patient advocacy organization serving the more than 31 million Americans living with eczema and those who care for them. NEA provides programs, resources, education, research, and advocacy designed to elevate the lived experience of eczema and ensure that the patient voice is represented and valued in education, care, treatment decision-making and research.
As the eczema treatment landscape continues to evolve, NEA is expanding and diversifying its partnerships with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, consumer health, retail, healthcare and other organizations that share an interest in improving outcomes for people affected by eczema.
Position Designation: Director, Corporate Partnerships
Reporting Structure: Reports to the Vice President, Corporate Engagement and Development
Position Summary
The Director, Corporate Partnerships is a strategic relationship leader responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of NEA's corporate partnerships and ensuring that partners experience meaningful value through their engagement with the organization.
This role owns the day-to-day relationship and strategic stewardship of assigned corporate partners, with responsibility for the NEA Corporate Council and Corporate Engagement Pathway. The Director will lead Corporate Council meetings and ongoing engagement, facilitate strategic conversations with corporate stakeholders, develop partnership opportunities and proposals, and ensure that commitments are translated into strong execution and measurable impact.
This is a high-autonomy, high-accountability role for a strategic thinker who sees opportunities, anticipates needs, and moves work forward without waiting to be assigned each next step. The Director should be comfortable operating with senior-level corporate contacts, facilitating meetings, asking thoughtful questions, identifying opportunities for deeper collaboration, and bringing forward recommendations to NEA leadership.
The successful candidate will be equally comfortable in a strategic conversation with a corporate executive, developing a partnership proposal, facilitating a Corporate Council discussion, coordinating internally to deliver a commitment, and using data and insights to demonstrate partnership value.
While the position will provide limited support for individual giving initiatives, fundraising is not a primary responsibility.
