What Will You Do?
  • Lead and develop the Corporate Communications team, providing strategic guidance, coaching, and career development to elevate individual and team performance.
  • Serve as the senior operational partner to the VP, Corporate Communications – translating strategic priorities into team execution plans, managing workload and resources across the function, and ensuring quality and consistency across all programs.
  • Oversee PR, AR, internal, executive, and crisis communications programs led by team members, ensuring strategic alignment, editorial standards, and measurable impact across each discipline.
  • Oversee insightsoftware’s research report program – setting topic strategy and narrative direction in partnership with Marketing, ensuring reports are grounded in market relevance and positioned to drive earned media coverage, analyst engagement, pipeline generation, and sales enablement.
  • Own insightsoftware’s podcast, Confessions of a CFO – driving guest and host strategy and enablement and topic selection aligned to thought leadership and media priorities.
  • Own corporate messaging strategy and partner with Brand on GTM messaging and positioning, ensuring a consistent, compelling company narrative across brands, audiences, and channels as the business grows and evolves.
  • Oversee the Leadership Amplified program – defining strategy and executive participation in partnership with team members who manage day‑to‑day execution.
  • Partner with the Sr. Corporate Communications Manager to manage agency oversight, budget stewardship, and the integration of AI‑powered workflows to scale team capacity and output quality.
  • Champion editorial standards and brand voice consistency across all team output, elevating the quality and effectiveness of communications assets across channels and audiences.
  • Oversee crisis communications planning and response as a senior leader and strategic resource for communications and senior leadership teams.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Marketing, HR, Product, and Sales leadership to ensure communications programs are integrated with broader business initiatives and GTM priorities.
How Will You Get It Done?
  • People Leadership – develop and inspire a team of communications professionals, building individual capability and team cohesion while maintaining high standards for output and execution.
  • Strategic Thinking – bring a point of view on where to play and how to win, connecting communications investments to business objectives and reputational outcomes.
  • Drive & Discipline – operate with urgency and precision in a fast‑paced, global environment, delivering high‑quality results across competing priorities.
  • Growth Mindset – actively question the status quo, test new approaches, and bring creative thinking to content, channel strategy, and team operations.
  • AI‑First Mindset – leverage AI tools to enhance research, content development, workflow efficiency, and team scale.
  • Executive Presence – communicate with clarity and confidence at the VP and C‑suite level, both in writing and in person.
  • Editorial Excellence – hold a high bar for storytelling quality, messaging consistency, and brand voice across every program the team owns.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of corporate communications experience, with progressive responsibility across external and internal communications disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing communications teams, including Senior Manager‑level direct reports.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, or Business.
  • Experience owning or significantly contributing to thought leadership content programs – such as research reports, podcasts, or editorial franchises – with measurable market impact.
  • Strong understanding of PR and AR strategy, including media relations, analyst engagement, and agency oversight.
  • Proven track record leading communications in complex, global, matrixed organizations – ideally B2B technology, SaaS, or PE‑backed environments.
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership on communications strategy, messaging development, and executive visibility programs.
  • Exceptional writer and editor with the ability to elevate others’ work and instill quality standards across a team.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple programs and workstreams simultaneously.
  • Self‑starter who is resourceful, collaborative, and comfortable operating with ambiguity.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
