Ankura seeks a Director or Senior Director for its Professional Liability and Defective Construction group. The role can be based anywhere in the United States, with preference for the Eastern or Central time zones.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree in a construction or engineering field.
• An advanced degree and professional certification are preferred.
• Five to eight years of dedicated disputes or forensic consulting experience.
• A record of testimony on construction defects and standards of care.
• Knowledge of building codes, materials and construction methods.

Responsabilités

• Lead defect analysis and standards of care for general contractors and project participants.
• Investigate design and construction deficiencies, water infiltration and contractual liability.
• Develop remedial repair protocols and assess cost and schedule effects of defective work.
• Supervise document reviews, mentor analysts and associates, and manage engagement planning, budgets and client communications.
