Job summary

MAPFRE in Webster, MA is seeking a transformational leader to direct Commercial Lines Operations, overseeing underwriting support, service delivery, and performance initiatives that drive profitability and an exceptional agent and customer experience.

As Director, you will partner with Underwriting, Distribution, Product, Technology, and vendors to design scalable operating models, implement workflow automation, and lead high-performing teams toward operational excellence and growth in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of P&C insurance experience with 5+ years in Commercial Lines operations.
• Experience leading large operational teams and vendor/offshore partnerships.
• Proven ability to design workflows, procedures, metrics, and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Lead transformation of Commercial Lines operations including underwriting support and service operations.
• Oversee and optimize the service model to align with frontline execution and objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement through process enhancements and measurable outcomes.
• Lead underwriting assistants, service teams, and vendor partners to high performance.
• Collaborate with Technology on modernization, automation, and rating tools.
