Job Description
The Director of Commercial Data Management reports to the Senior Director of Commercial Operations in the North America Global Insights, Analytics, and Commercial Operations (GIACO) organization. The Director, Commercial Data Management is responsible for shaping, creating and executing the Commercial Data Management strategy and capabilities to support all existing and new therapeutic areas for North America GIACO including the leadership and oversight of the Master Data Management (MDM) and Commercial Data Warehouse systems.
This role will have the opportunity to develop and build the tools, systems, capabilities and overall infrastructure of Vertex's Commercial data warehouse and datasets. This includes but is not limited to leading the acquisition, building, integration, stewardship, and governance of all commercial datasets to enable commercial insights and reporting (both strategic and tactical execution) as well as, the identification of business requirements, development of project scopes, identification of important vendors, datasets, data warehouse architecture, and resources. This position will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support the implementation of data infrastructure for the Commercial Organization and guarantee adequate access to and visibility of internal and external vendor data required to support the business.

Pay Range:
$184,000 - $276,000Disclosure Statement:
The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
