Ladders is seeking a Director, Commercial CMC Programs to guide commercial CMC programs across manufacturing, quality, and development as assets move from mid-stage into commercial supply. Remote role in the United States.

You will partner with internal leaders and external contract manufacturers to build capacity strategies, manage relationships, and ensure operational plans support business goals, while developing a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in cGMP Manufacturing, Contract Manufacturing, Business Development, or Quality.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and external partners, including CDMOs.
• Ability to travel ~30% domestically and internationally.

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Commercial CMC Programs to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role will guide commercial CMC programs across manufacturing, quality, and development activities as assets move from mid-stage into commercial supply. You will partner closely with internal leaders and external contract manufacturers to build capacity strategies, manage relationships, and ensure operational plans support business goals. The position also carries responsibility for aligning contracts, budgets, and cross-functional communication while developing a high-performing team.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $150,000 - $180,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing and operational plans for commercial assets
• Establish and nurture relationships with contract manufacturers
• Oversee production, quality, and development from mid-stage to commercial manufacturing
• Manage contracts to align with company expectations while meeting budget targets

Qualifications

• BA or BS in Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Business, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in cGMP Manufacturing, Contract Manufacturing, Business Development, or Quality
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and external partners, including CDMOs
• Direct experience in Sterile Injectable Filling and Lyophilization preferred
• Experience with Secondary Packaging and complex formulations of biologics preferred
• Ability to travel approximately 30% domestically and internationally
