Job summary

Kinder’s is seeking an experienced Director of Co-Manufacturing Quality to lead the quality strategy across the co-manufacturing network and ensure products meet regulatory, customer, and consumer expectations.

The role requires strong business acumen, risk-based decision making, and the ability to translate technical quality risks into strategic leadership insights for senior leadership. Based in the US, on-site leadership is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in food science, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years QA/QC/FS in CPG with co-manufacturing exposure.
• Experience managing external manufacturers and quality programs.
• Strong knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP, GMP, FSMA, FDA/USDA).

Responsibilities

• Develop and govern the co-manufacturing quality strategy.
• Establish governance, standards, and accountability for partners.
• Lead quality due diligence for new partners and product transfers.
• Oversee audits, CAPAs, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to enable scale and risk mitigation.
