Job summary

The Hain Celestial Group is seeking a Director, Co-Manufacturing to oversee its North American external manufacturing network. You will drive reliable, cost-effective, and compliant production through external partners, owning performance, capacity planning, governance, supplier accountability, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, manufacturing, operations or co-manufacturing
• Experience managing third-party manufacturing partners and cross-functional initiatives
• Proven experience managing operational metrics, budgets, productivity initiatives and performance improvement
• Demonstrated ability to influence across Procurement, Quality, R&D, Commercial, Finance and Operations

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the North American co-manufacturing strategy aligned with growth, service, quality and cost objectives.
• Lead governance of third-party manufacturing partners across product categories and platforms.
• Own co-manufacturer performance management including service, quality, cost, safety and continuity metrics.
• Establish strong operating relationships with co-manufacturing partners and conduct executive reviews as needed.
• Ensure sufficient external capacity to support current demand, innovation, and future growth.
• Collaborate with Procurement on supplier selection, contracts, and pricing actions.
• Work with R&D, Quality and Operations on launches, transfers and network optimization.
• Identify productivity, cost-saving and waste reduction opportunities across the network.
• Lead risk assessment and mitigation for supply continuity and disruptions.
• Support long-range planning, make-vs-buy analyses and footprint optimization.
• Manage escalation of significant operational or quality issues.
• Partner with Finance to build budgets, forecasts and cost-to-serve visibility.
• Create and maintain standards, KPIs, and decision-making processes for co-manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, food safety and company requirements.
• Build and develop a high-performing co-manufacturing team.
