Moderna seeks a Director of Quantitative Science to lead the CMC QS team in Norwood, MA. You will guide statistical strategy, oversee high-impact projects, and partner with Process Development, Analytical Development, Quality, Manufacturing, and Digital to shape data-driven decisions.

The role requires a PhD/MS/BS in statistics with extensive leadership experience, deep CMC statistical expertise, and strong communication to senior leaders and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• PhD/MS/BS with 10+ / 10-15 / 15+ years of relevant experience in statistics or related discipline.
• Proven track record leading complex statistical projects in fast-paced environments.
• Strong leadership, mentorship and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute statistical strategies for CMC and business objectives.
• Lead design and application of complex experimental/statistical models (stability, lifecycle).
• Oversee projects across regulatory filings, lifecycle, and digital tools.
• Mentor team of statisticians and data scientists; foster excellence and continuous learning.
