Breakthru Beverage Group is seeking an experienced Director of Cloud Security Architecture and Engineering. You will lead a hands-on security team, shaping a multi-cloud strategy across AWS, Azure, and SaaS, while guiding security in a hybrid environment.

The role requires deep AWS expertise, CISSP and security certifications, and strong DevOps collaboration to ensure secure cloud adoption across business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or information technology, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 12 years of IT Security experience, with 5 years focused on AWS architecture.
• AWS Solutions Architect - Associate Certification
• AWS Security Specialty
• CISSP Certification
• Deep expertise in AWS-native and third‑party security tools
• Strong understanding of cloud governance, IaC, encryption, networking, and identity management.
• Hands-on scripting and automation (Python, Terraform)
• Strong experience with Splunk
• Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, M635)
• Strong writing and communication skills across technical and executive audiences
• Experience with leading and team management
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the enterprise cloud security architecture across AWS, SaaS platforms, hybrid infrastructure, applications, networking, and OT environments.
• Define and implement AWS-native security architectures including identity, encryption, network segmentation, logging, detection, and governance capabilities.
• Support the re-architecture and migration of Azure workloads to AWS, ensuring security-by-design throughout the migration.
• Design, implement and enforce Zero Trust security models for cloud and hybrid environments.
• Integrate AWS with enterprise security platforms like Zscaler, Splunk, and BeyondTrust for centralized visibility and response.
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed security into pipelines and enable vulnerability management and continuous compliance.
• Establish cloud IAM strategies including federation, least privilege, just-in-time access, identity governance, and Zero Trust.
• Integrate with IdPs including Entra ID and SAP IAS.
• Develop governance, risk, and compliance frameworks for cloud adoption with policy-as-code and automated monitoring.
• Develop templates and reusable security artifacts to speed delivery and ensure compliance across cloud initiatives.
• Monitor regulatory changes and threat trends to advise leadership on risk and mitigation.
• Lead and develop cloud security architecture teams with clear direction and expectations.
• Provide architectural oversight for enterprise initiatives and ensure security outcomes.
• Oversee cloud security tools, platforms, and services portfolio for effectiveness and ROI.
• Oversee cloud incident response and forensics capabilities with cloud telemetry and SIEM integrations.
• Deliver executive briefings, architecture reviews, and security workshops.
