Job summary

Fidelity is seeking a seasoned software leader to drive cloud-based development across Java, Python, Oracle, Angular, and Kafka to support portfolio management and trading systems.

You will design and evolve complex distributed systems, lead architectural decisions, and guide multi-team execution with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalable delivery in a financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in technology strategy for legacy applications and scalable web apps.
• Experience designing and developing high-performing event-driven and streaming systems.
• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines, testing, and deployment using industry-standard tools.
• Experience with AWS or public cloud in financial services domain.

Responsibilities

• Translate business vision into architectural strategy at the functional level.
• Participate in cross-functional architecture design teams.
• Consult on major technology initiatives and deployment of deliverables.
• Oversee implementation of cross-divisional architectural components.
• Provide guidance and coaching to team members for performance and career development.
