Director Cloud Engineering - Security & IAM

Role Overview

S&P Dow Jones Indices is seeking a Director, Cloud Engineering to lead our Infrastructure Engineering team, focusing on managing Identity and Access Management across Cloud and co-located infrastructure. This role requires an experienced engineer adept at both independent and collaborative work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage user account lifecycle including creation, provisioning, security, and deactivation.
  2. Collaborate with the corporate IAM team to integrate IAM for applications and infrastructure.
  3. Perform periodic access reviews and certifications.
  4. Engineer and implement IAM solutions for infrastructure components.
  5. Onboard and maintain privileged accounts in vaults like CyberArk.
  6. Engineer solutions in SailPoint for access management and reviews.
  7. Manage AWS IAM Roles and AD/Okta Groups.
  8. Implement access solutions using AWS Secrets Manager.
  9. Create and maintain encryption keys.
  10. Respond to security audits related to access and identity management.
  11. Lead governance tasks for access and identity management.
  12. Integrate cloud-native services with centralized IDPs like Azure AD and Okta.
  13. Troubleshoot IAM tools and processes issues.
  14. Evaluate and engineer new IAM tools based on infrastructure and application needs.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
  • Experience managing IDPs such as Azure AD, Okta, IDM, etc.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud environment.
  • Experience with SailPoint or similar tools for user certification.
  • Experience with privileged access management tools like CyberArk.
  • Experience managing users/groups in OpenLDAP, Git, Jenkins, etc.
  • Experience integrating applications and cloud-native services with centralized IDPs.
  • Experience installing and maintaining directory services like Azure AD, OpenLDAP.
  • Experience participating in security audits.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred:
  • Approximately 15 years of experience in Identity & Access Management.
