Position Overview

The Danielsen Institute at Boston University is seeking a Director of Clinical Services (DCS) to lead and oversee all aspects of the clinic's operations. The Institute includes an on-campus outpatient mental health clinic, training programs for clinicians and researchers, and the Center for the Study of Religion and Psychology.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead clinical team providing over 12,000 hours annually of culturally affirming mental health services.
  2. Provide direct clinical services (assessments, psychotherapy, consultation) to clients.
  3. Supervise, train, and teach within the clinical training program, including an APA-accredited internship.
  4. Serve as the clinical liaison to the research team, contributing clinical expertise to research projects.
  5. Participate in the Institute’s leadership, guiding overall strategy and planning.
Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in psychology OR master’s degree in social work.
  • Independent licensure or license eligibility as a Health Service Provider Psychologist or LICSW in Massachusetts.
  • 3-5 years of related clinical, administrative, and leadership experience.
