Job summary

Compass Health Center is expanding its clinical leadership in Silver Spring, MD. We seek an experienced Director of Clinical Services to oversee PHP/IOP programs, coach staff, and align clinical services with accreditation standards.

The role involves direct supervision and cross-team collaboration to deliver high-quality behavioral healthcare. The position requires a licensed clinician with program development experience, crisis management skills, and knowledge of CBT, ACT, DBT, and

Qualifications

• Masters prepared independently licensed clinician or licensed Doctorate level clinician.
• Experience developing and managing programs and clinical teams.
• Experience supervising therapists, both licensed and seeing licensure.
• Knowledge of group dynamics using CBT, ACT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
• Experience with patients in crisis.
• Excellent time management in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with program targets in group/individual therapy settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct managerial oversight to Associate Directors, Primary Therapists, Family Therapists, Group Therapists and others.
• Identify hiring needs and participate in interviewing and onboarding processes.
• Oversee staff development and performance appraisal programs.
• Ensure compliance with accrediting bodies and internal policies.
• Lead day-to-day execution of mission and program policies.
