University of Utah Health is seeking a senior leader to drive clinical financial analytics, owning patient-level costing methodology and data integrity. You will lead pro forma modeling, capital planning support, and executive-level financial analysis for strategic decisions.

The role requires eight+ years in healthcare finance/analytics, strong leadership, and the ability to present complex analyses to senior executives. Hybrid work in Salt Lake City is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
• Eight or more years of healthcare finance or analytics experience, including financial modeling and pro forma development.
• Hands-on experience with patient-level costing systems and cost allocation methodology.
• Advanced analytic skills and the ability to present complex analysis clearly to senior executives and committees.
• Experience leading analysts or analytic teams preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead clinical enterprise financial analytics, including standard reports, model structures, and analytic tools used across the finance team.
• Own costing methodology and data integrity for patient-level financial data; coordinate with costing system users.
• Provide support for Enterprise Management Committee and system leadership resource requests.
• Lead pro forma modeling for program growth and facility expansion; maintain templates and track post-approval performance.
• Provide return and operating-impact modeling to support prioritization of capital projects.
• Support revenue and volume modeling for hospitals and ambulatory finance.
