Job summary

Verily Health Inc. seeks a Director, Physician Researcher – Evidence Generation & Registries to lead clinical and real-world studies, design registries, and guide AI evaluation.

You will partner with health systems, academic investigators, payers, and industry partners to translate evidence into actionable insights and outcomes. You will mentor junior staff, shape the evidence generation strategy across clinical programs and care delivery models, and ensure compliance with GCP and data privacy

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent doctoral-level degree with medical licensure.
• 10+ years in evidence generation, real-world evidence, or related fields.
• Experience designing observational studies, registries, or pragmatic trials.
• Customer-facing experience leading scientific discussions with external partners.
• Experience evaluating AI-enabled tools in clinical research contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of registries and observational studies, including protocol development and data collection instruments.
• Shape evidence generation strategy across clinical programs and care models.
• Act as primary clinical contact for external investigators and partners.
• Oversee AI-enabled research tool use, evaluating outputs for bias and validity.
• Mentor junior clinical and research staff across teams.
