Job summary

Streamwood Behavioral Healthcare System is seeking a Director for the Illinois Business Center to lead the revenue cycle across multiple facilities. The role oversees billing, collections, admissions and data processing, and serves as a key liaison to executive leadership.

The position requires substantial leadership experience in hospital or healthcare accounts receivable, with a bachelor's degree and proven ability to drive process improvements and data-driven results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in business, health care administration, or related field.
• Minimum of ten (10) years supervisory experience in accounts receivable and business office functions preferred, including experience with insurance companies and a working knowledge of insurance terms, rates, policies and reimbursement procedures preferred.
• Demonstrates understanding of patient accounting principles in managing large volume, accounts receivable in a health care related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and adjust the flow of work and account assignments to ensure billing, collection and account follow up occurs timely and within company established guidelines.
• Develops comprehensive plans to manage multiple tasks simultaneously across various facilities.
• Identifies areas for improvement within revenue cycle operations and communicates progress to leadership.
• Analyzes daily reports to verify operational success of the business office.
• Evaluates registration, insurance verification and cash posting to ensure data input integrity.
• Collaborates with CFOs for assigned locations to communicate needs, challenges and accomplishments.
