Uber in New York seeks a Director of Central Operations to drive cross-functional programs transforming core business performance, from sustainability roadmaps to scalable BizOps. This role requires navigating global markets and making hard calls on resources and strategy.

Leading at Uber means setting direction in motion, not waiting for perfect conditions. As a Director of Central Operations, you will lead high-impact, global or regional programs tasked with transforming Uber’s core business performance—whether by architecting a multi-billion dollar sustainability roadmap, scaling our delivery marketplace, or building an advanced ecosystem of business operations (BizOps).
This role is for a visionary leader who thrives in the \"messy reality\" of a global business and can solve complex, real-world constraints through technical innovation and operational rigor. You will navigate a high-stakes environment across diverse regulatory, competitive, and economic landscapes, making hard calls on resource allocation and long-term strategy. If you lead with clarity, think in systems, and are motivated by the challenge of shaping the future of mobility and delivery at scale, this is where you’ll make your mark.
Rate of Pay: $259,000 to $292,000 per Year
You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits. More details can be found at the following link https://www.uber.com/careers/benefits.
