Job summary

United Education Institute in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Director of Career Services to lead the campus job placement program and ensure a successful student placement experience. As a member of the campus management team, you will develop services that support the school's mission, foster student professional growth, and manage the Career Services department budget and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of combined career services and management experience, with over one year of management experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with an emphasis in Excel and Outlook utilization to manage team priorities.
• Ability to work effectively building and maintaining a team.
• Good general business knowledge and ability to effectively supervise and lead a team of professionals.
• Successful track record of placement activities in educational or staffing/recruiting environment.
• Must possess a valid drivers license and be able to drive in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Leads the Career Services team to achieve placement results compliant with regulatory standards.
• Develops and implements campus strategy for Career Services.
• Manages Career Services budget and staff allocation.
• Maintains employer relationships and on-campus recruiting.
• Oversees externship components and job placement processes.
• Provides training and mentoring to Career Services staff.
• Promotes IEC mission and values within the team.
• Ensures data-driven metrics monitoring and reporting.
