Job summary

The California State University on the Monterey Bay campus invites applications for the Director of Career Education. This leadership role directs career education initiatives, mentor staff, and partners with faculty to weave career readiness into the student experience.

Responsibilities include overseeing EAB/Navigate workflows, coordinating workshops and programming, and driving data-informed improvements to support student success and internships, graduate opportunities, and lifelong career

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in counseling, higher education, human resources, or related field.
• Progressively responsible experience in career education or related areas.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of career educators and coaching staff.
• Develop and implement career education programs and outcomes.
• Collaborate with faculty and campus partners to embed career readiness.
• Design instructional content and workshops aligned with learning outcomes.
• Utilize data to guide program improvements and assess outcomes.
• Support equity and inclusion in career services for diverse students.
