Description

Piedmont Cartersville is seeking a dynamic and engaged Director of Care Management to lead its growing team! The ideal candidate will be an experienced people leader with a strong background in case management and/or social work, skilled in leveraging data to drive decisions and improve patient outcomes and patient throughput. Job Purpose

The Director of Care Management is responsible for leading the hospital's Care Management department, defining and maintaining standards of practice for service delivery and organizational performance strategies consistent with Piedmont Healthcare's Mission, Vision, and Values, as well as those of the individual hospital.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Minimum Experience: Seven (7) years of case management or social work experience in an acute care setting, including three (3) years of management experience.
• Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of healthcare industry, care coordination, government regulations, healthcare plans, and utilization management. Experience with InterQual or Milliman preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Licensure appropriate to the discipline. Unrestricted RN license or eligible, or LMSW/LCSW license in Georgia. Certification in Case or Care Management is preferred. Additional certifications or a master's degree in healthcare administration or finance are a plus.
