Job summary

Dartmouth Health is seeking a Program Director for the Registered Cardiac Sonographer program to lead the Dartmouth Health Career Institute Cardiac Sonography Training Program. The role covers organization, budgeting, evaluation, and coordination of the instructional team and clinical partnerships.

The position oversees accreditation adherence, student outcomes, and staff coaching, with a focus on continuous improvement and industry standards in cardiac imaging.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• Experience with program management including scheduling, budgeting, supervising trainees, tracking outcomes and compliance.
• FASE or ACS-CCI certification preferred.
• Ability to travel to DH member locations in NH and VT.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a diagnostic cardiac sonographer or instructor in a cardiac sonography program within the past ten years.

Responsibilities

• Manages organization, administration and ongoing development of the program.
• Leads design and development of curricula to align with outcomes.
• Delivers didactic and clinical curricula.
• Tracks learning technologies and curricular practices.
• Coordinates student clinical experiences and maintains documentation.
• Monitors student progress and participates in disciplinary actions.
• Leads recruitment, admissions and student mentoring.
