Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), a valid Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) credential, and at least two years of leadership experience in curriculum design and instruction within a cardiac sonography

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Two years full-time experience as a registered sonographer with cardiac sonography.
• RCS credential through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) required.
• Experience in curriculum design, instruction, evaluation and student guidance is expected.

Job description

Program Directors are responsible for leveraging their expertise to develop, maintain and deliver education services to students through:

• Creating and Maintaining core curriculum across the institution
• Communicating and monitoring delivery of core curriculum
• Preparing course plans and material
• Delivering courses
• Monitoring progress/attendance
• Advising students
• Recording grades and submitting reports

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of Bachelor\'s degree (Master\'s preferred); and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of two (2) years full-time experience as a registered sonographer with clinical experience in Cardiac Sonography. Documented evidence of continuing education, in areas of, but not limited to, curriculum design, instruction, program administration, and evaluation.
• Documented evidence of experience in supervision, instruction, evaluation, student guidance and in educational theories
• Possess Registered Cardiac Sonographer credentials (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
