Director, Cardiac Anesthesia (Finance)

On behalf of the Department of Cardiovascular Services, Nemours Children's Hospital, Florida, CareerPhysician is launching a national search for a visionary leader to become the next Director of Cardiac Anesthesia, guiding services in Jacksonville and Orlando. The ideal candidate will provide strategic direction and management of the clinical department in collaboration with the Director of Nemours Cardiac Center, Florida, aligning with Nemours' mission and strategic goals. This leader will play a key role in developing and expanding the Cardiac Anesthesia Program, including contributing to strategic planning and ensuring policies and initiatives support the department’s mission, vision, and values.

This physician leader will exemplify Nemours standards, inspire collaboration, and foster teamwork across the Department of Cardiovascular Services, Nemours Children's Hospital, clinical divisions, and hospital partners in Florida to ensure high-quality care.

The successful candidate will possess an MD/DO or equivalent, ABA board certification with subspecialty certification in pediatric anesthesia, experience or training in pediatric cardiac anesthesia, and be eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license. Academic leadership experience and accomplishments should be aligned with qualifications for a faculty appointment at the level of Associate Professor or Professor at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine.
