Job summary

CRH Americas Materials invites a seasoned Director to lead Business Readiness & Process Excellence, partnering with senior leaders across Finance, Operations, Commercial, Procurement, HR, Technology, and Shared Services to prepare people, processes, and data for growth and operational excellence.

You will establish efficient ways of working, enhance data governance, drive standardized processes, and champion change management across a large, dynamic organization to deliver measurable performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in business transformation, operational excellence, process improvement, enterprise systems, or program leadership.
• Proven success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives across multiple business units, locations, or functions.
• Strong project and program management capabilities, including executive communication, risk management, governance, and change leadership.
• Experience leading data quality, governance, validation, or business ownership activities within large-scale transformation environments.
• Experience helping organizations navigate change and successfully adopt new business processes and technologies.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive results without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead readiness efforts for major organizational initiatives and technology-enabled change.
• Develop and execute readiness plans covering process design, data preparation, governance, training, adoption, and stabilization.
• Partner with leaders to align priorities and manage dependencies for successful execution.
• Establish metrics and reporting to monitor progress and outcomes.
• Guide deployment preparation, transition activities, and post-implementation support without disrupting day-to-day operations.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and standardize critical processes, and translate objectives into actionable improvements.
• Drive cross-functional workshops and governance frameworks for consistency and efficiency.
• Oversee data readiness and governance, quality improvements, and data ownership initiatives.
