Base pay range

$180,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr

Ovise is working exclusively with a high-profile financial services organization in search of a senior-level data and BI expert. This hands-on position plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s analytics function, with a focus on leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Python to deliver robust, scalable data solutions that inform strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy dynamic dashboards and data models using Power BI
• Use Python for data manipulation, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics
• Architect and streamline data flows across the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem
• Work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams to gather insights and requirements
• Ensure data platforms and tools are performant, secure, and future-proof
• Coach and support junior analysts and developers across data initiatives
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of analytics frameworks
• Continuously explore and integrate emerging trends in BI and data science

Qualifications:

• Degree (or equivalent experience) in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Data Science
• 8+ years of experience in business intelligence or data-focused roles
• 5+ years of hands-on Python expertise in statistical or machine learning applications
• Solid command of SQL and relational database concepts
• Demonstrated experience with data reporting in asset or investment management
• Familiarity with cloud technologies; Azure experience is highly desirable
• Excellent communicator with a strategic mindset and attention to detail
• Proven ability to convert complex datasets into clear, actionable business insights
