This is a strategic role focused on driving growth in the clinical research and life sciences space. As Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for expanding relationships with key stakeholders across pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Your primary mission will be to position and sell a unified clinical trial technology and analytics platform to C-level executives and clinical leaders. You'll manage a defined portfolio of enterprise clients and use your knowledge of the industry to close deals, support long-term partnerships, and contribute to innovation in patient-centered research.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead business development efforts by targeting pharmaceutical, biotech, and clinical research organizations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level and senior decision-makers in clinical development, operations, and outsourcing
  • Manage a portfolio of large named accounts, identifying upsell opportunities and expanding adoption of the platform
  • Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets and performance metrics
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal product and delivery teams to align offerings with customer needs
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to increase market visibility


Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client partnerships, preferably in life sciences or clinical technology
  • Proven success selling to pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO clients
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
  • Highly motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently or within a team
  • Strong analytical thinking and time management capabilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Economics, or a related field (MBA or Master's degree preferred)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools such as Salesforce
  • Willingness to travel as needed
