This role involves executing sales strategies for Paze's digital payment solutions, managing a high-performing sales team, and building relationships with key decision-makers in the eCommerce space. Overall Purpose
The Director, Business Development (BD) - Merchant, is an eCommerce sales expert responsible for executing the Paze merchant sales strategy, developing strategic plans, and establishing relationships with C-suite and cross-functional teams to sell Paze digital checkout and wallet payment services to strategic U.S. enterprise merchants. This 'hunter' sales role also involves leading and developing the Merchant Business Development team to drive success. The role collaborates with internal teams to refine sales strategies and works closely with partners to sell Paze solutions, ensuring high customer satisfaction during merchant onboarding.

In Phoenix, AZ, and Chicago, IL: $170,000 - $190,000/year
In San Francisco, CA, and New York, NY: $180,000 - $220,000/year
Includes potential sales incentives, benefits, and discretionary bonuses. Compensation is subject to factors like market rates, location, experience, and internal equity.
Physical Requirements
Primarily sedentary office work involving extensive computer use, with occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 10 pounds. Must be able to communicate effectively and travel as needed.
