Title and Summary

Overview:
The Global Partnerships team is looking for a Director of Global Business Development to drive our digital assets and blockchain customer experience strategy forward through innovation and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer journey, digital assets, and blockchain developments, highly motivated, curious, analytical, and entrepreneurial.

Role:

1. Drive global business development in the digital assets and blockchain space.
2. Manage all global account management tasks in line with Mastercard best practices, ensure successful delivery of strategy, achievement of commercial targets, and act as a strategic partner to leading crypto and blockchain companies worldwide.
3. Drive relevant product innovation based on customer feedback.
4. Embed Mastercard further in the global crypto and blockchain industry by establishing relationships with exchanges, wallets, layer 1 protocols, onramps, and similar entities.
5. Onboard and train new team members in business development and account management, helping them grow into their roles and manage accounts per Mastercard standards.
6. Achieve Mastercard's revenue and product targets in acquiring and issuing, driven by the digital assets and blockchain segment.
7. Partner with key stakeholders across various departments and regions to drive business and shape the future of the digital economy.
8. Review and expand target segments based on new opportunities and product launches.

• Identify complementary products/services for customers.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executive management.
• Possess a strong work ethic, sense of urgency, and ownership.
• Have experience managing escalations.
• Be willing to travel internationally.
• Have relevant experience and a network in the blockchain and crypto ecosystem.
