Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a strategic sales leader to identify and secure new opportunities within U.S. hospitals and health systems. The Director will drive commercial strategy, coach teams, and ensure an exceptional client experience throughout the sales process.

This role emphasizes AI-enabled insights, collaboration across GE HealthCare’s sales force, and travel across USCAN. A Master’s with 8 years or a Bachelor’s with 10 years in Services/Consulting is required.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree plus 8 years in Services & Consulting.
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 10 years in Services & Consulting.
  • Direct hospital operations experience.
  • Sales or sales operations experience.
  • Basic knowledge of health IT systems, EMR, etc.
  • Willingness to travel across USCAN.

  • Lead sales strategies to acquire new business with hospitals.

This role is designed for a sales professional adept at identifying and capitalizing on new client acquisition opportunities. The Director plays a critical role in achieving business objectives, supporting commercial operations, enhancing team outcomes, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional experience to the client during the sales process.

Responsibilities
  • Sales Leadership & Business Development: Craft and implement aggressive sales strategies to pinpoint, engage, and secure new business opportunities.
  • Business Development: Personally creating opportunities for qualified hospital and health system leadership who have the ability to positively influence, or make the decision to purchase GEHC Command Center programs.
  • Strategic Influence: As requested, give input to help shape the business strategy.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor offerings. Interpret internal and external business dynamics, advocating best practices to refine products, processes, or services.
  • Decision Making: Harness sophisticated judgment skills to navigate complex tasks or challenges in areas like operational management, product management, and consulting. Evaluate the quality and relevance of information, engage in critical questioning, and utilize a range of sources to arrive at well-informed decisions.
  • Lead & Collaborate: Articulate complex concepts effectively and steer colleagues and potential clients to consider alternative perspectives.
  • Support Commercial Operations: Support SalesForce hygiene, meeting preparation, demos, conference preparation, sales strategies, internal GE connections with broader GEHC sales force (i.e.: Market Vice Principals, Executive Client Directors, etc).
  • AI Fluency & Innovation: Demonstrate curiosity, creativity, and judgment in leveraging AI tools and capabilities to enhance insight generation, improve commercial effectiveness, and advance new ways of working.
Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree from an accredited university with 8 years experience or Bachelors degree college with 10 years experience in Services & Consulting
  • Direct experience in hospital operations for at least a significant portion of your time with health systems
  • Sales experience and/or sales operations support experience
  • Basic Knowledge of health IT systems, EMR, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn, adopt, and apply new technologies and ways of working to improve productivity, decision-making, and business outcomes.
  • Able to travel extensively across USCAN

  • Ability to apply healthcare operations expertise and business judgment to critically evaluate AI-generated insights, challenge assumptions, validate conclusions, and make informed decisions.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $156,800.00-$235,200.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
