Job summary

Gen II Fund Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Business Development Director to generate new business opportunities from Private Assets, including private equity, private real estate and private credit. The role reports to the principal - Business Development and carries specific revenue objectives.

You’ll build and maintain a network of industry relationships, attend events, and translate market developments into opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years' experience selling Fund Administration services.
• Proven ability to leverage an existing network of relationships.
• Strong knowledge of Private Equity, Private Credit and Private Real Estate.
• Experience with Salesforce as a sales tool.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business for the firm through new opportunities with Private Assets firms.
• Identify opportunities to sell administration services to Private Equity and related sectors.
• Develop and maintain a network of industry relationships with centers of influence.
• Attend industry networking events and conferences.
• Track industry changes and translate them into opportunities for the firm.

What’s the role?

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Business Development Director to focus on new business opportunities primarily from Private Assets industry, including but not limited to private equity, private real estate & private credit sector. The position will report to the principal - Business Development and will have specific revenue objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Generate new business for the firm through the creation of new opportunities with existing newly forming Private Equity, Private Credit and Private Real Estate firms.
• Identify opportunities to sell administration services to Private Equity firms seeking to improve their operational processes and workflows.
• Develop and maintain a network of relationships with industry centers of influence, including audit, tax and legal advisory firms, consultants, limited partners, investment bankers and other advisors.
• Attend industry networking events and conferences.
• Keep track of new industry, legal and fiscal developments, anticipate changes in the target market’s needs and translate this into opportunities for the firm.
• Other duties as assigned.

The ideal background for this role:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years' experience selling Fund Administration services.
• Proven ability to leverage an existing network of relevant key relationships, decision makers and influencers.
• Strong knowledge of the Private Equity, Private Credit and Private Real Estate industry.
• Strong knowledge of Private Fund Operations.
• Demonstrated learning agility and self-motivation.
• Detail oriented.
• Experience with Salesforce as a sales tool.
• Ability to work both individually and within a group structure.
• Able to assist creation and execution of targeted outreach efforts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

The salary range for this position is $175,000 to $225,000, in addition to a commission plan and comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offer within that range will depend on the candidate’s experience level.
