Job summary

Merck in the United States seeks a Business Integration Leader to orchestrate CEI transformation across the Business Units. You will partner with cross-functional teams to align plans, deploy capabilities, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

This role requires >7 years in pharma marketing or strategic planning, strong leadership, and proven ability to manage complex programs from design to execution. You will report to the Executive Director, BU Engagement Leader, and sit on the leadership

Qualifications

BA/BS degree required.
MBA preferred.
Minimum 7 years pharma marketing or strategic planning experience.

Responsibilities

Lead transformation design as the voice of the business and validate deployment.
Monitor progress using capability adoption scorecards.
Develop scaling plans and operating models for future BU use cases.
Execute a 2–3 year roadmap to scale business opportunities across the BU.
Tie transformation efforts to clear business outcomes and measurable metrics.
Prioritize projects based on strategic importance, resources, and impact.
Implement strategies that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and competitiveness.
Monitor progress and drive continuous innovation across initiatives.
Coordinate with BU Engagement Director to align on brand priorities and flexible resource use.
