T he Director of Broad-Based Compensation leads the strategic design, implementation, and governance of non-executive compensation programs. The focus of this position is to change management and enterprise-wide training for compensation programs. This role partners closely with HR, Finance, and senior leaders to drive consistent application of pay structures, manage large-scale program rollouts, and ensure readiness through change management and training initiatives. The Director of Broad-Based Compensation reports to Vice President of Global Compensation. US Citizenship is required to apply. This is a US remote-telework role (you must live within the US to work remote).
Essential Responsibilities:
Lead a team of compensation professionals delivering global broad-based compensation programs and oversees compensation partners supporting the business areas
Provides day-to-day strategic compensation support to the corporate functional teams and works in tandem with the head of Corporate HR
Ensure consistency in job architecture and pay banding frameworks across functions and geographies
Manage and maintain all compensation related policies to ensure it meets the organization’s needs and regulatory requirements
Manage and maintain the Global compensation structure, consistently reviewing for market competitiveness
Design incentive programs (e.g., broad-based bonuses, sales incentives).
Create and drive change management strategies and compensation training initiatives across the enterprise.
Partner with Talent Acquisition, Culture and HRBPs to align compensation programs with broader talent strategies
Conduct compensation analytics to model cost impacts, pay equity, and program effectiveness
Oversee salary survey participation, benchmarking, and compensation vendor management
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external wage transparency, equity, and labor laws
Support M&A activities and other projects assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to educate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
12 years of progressive experience in compensation, with at least 3 years in leadership.
Highly proficient in data modeling, compensation tools, Excel, and HRIS (Workday preferred).
Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills; ability to synthesize large datasets into insights.
Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills for senior-level audiences.
Demonstrated success in managing enterprise change and global program implementation.
