The Studio team at Okta is a growing group within Marketing, composed of creatives, strategists, producers and marketing managers alike. Our team focuses on leading the brand, telling powerful stories, and inspiring creative excellence. As a partner to cross-functional teams across Okta, we tie our goals to our most important company initiatives, driving towards shared KPIs, strategies, and processes to unify and push the brand and business forward.
About this role
The Brand team within the Studio is in charge of developing the brand strategy, brand management, brand measurement, verbal identity (voice & naming), creative strategy. We advocate the power of brand across Okta while helping support marketing activities.
We are looking for a Director, Brand Strategy to help define Okta’s brand and drive brand strategy initiatives, including how we tell our story through brand messaging, brand awareness campaigns and brand management. They will serve as the voice of Brand with creative partners within the Studio and across the marketing organization. They must be able to connect dots and create the right brand narrative with partners including, but not limited to, Product Marketing, Digital, Events, Product, Sales and Corporate Strategy.
This role will work in close collaboration with our executive leadership to identify the key brand needs and how best to support wider business objectives.

The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $224,000 — $336,000 USDBelow is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
