Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Director of Bioconjugation to shape strategy across ADC and ARC/AOC portfolios. You will lead a bioconjugation team, align with chemistry on linker-payloads, and drive discovery through nomination and transition to development.

The role requires deep conjugation chemistry expertise, leadership in discovery programs, and strong collaboration with Global Discovery Chemistry, Biologics, and Translational Sciences to deliver platform capabilities and robust

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on expertise in bioconjugation chemistry and payload design.
• Experience with cytotoxic ADCs, antibody–RNA/oligonucleotide conjugates.
• Leadership in discovery programs and protocol development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the bioconjugation team and define scientific direction.
• Set enterprise strategy with Chemistry on linker‑payload design.
• Own conjugate design and delivery strategy from concept to development.
• Collaborate with multiple groups and manage external partnerships.
• Present strategy and data at governance reviews; ensure manufacturability.
• Champion data capture, standardization, and ML-enabled design.
