Job summary

CornerStone Technology Talent Services is seeking a Director of Business Intelligence & Data Strategy to lead an enterprise data and analytics organization through a digital transformation.

The role defines the BI vision, modernizes cloud-based data platforms, and builds a high-performing team delivering trusted insights across Finance, Operations, Commercial, HR, Procurement, and Supply Chain. This executive will influence decisions and drive data as a strategic advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Engineering, or Data Management.
• 5+ years leading enterprise BI organizations and technical teams.
• Proven experience developing and executing enterprise BI strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar enterprise data platforms.
• Advanced SQL and enterprise data warehousing expertise.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata management, and MDM.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

We're seeking an experienced Director of Business Intelligence & Data Strategy to lead an enterprise data and analytics organization through its next phase of digital transformation.

This executive-level leader will define the organization's Business Intelligence vision, modernize cloud-based data platforms, and build a high-performing team that delivers trusted insights across Finance, Operations, Commercial, Human Resources, Procurement, and Supply Chain.

What You'll Do

Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute the enterprise Business Intelligence and Data Strategy roadmap.
• Lead the modernization of cloud-based analytics and data platforms.
• Partner with executive leadership to identify opportunities where analytics can improve operational and financial performance.
• Develop the long-term vision for enterprise reporting, self-service analytics, AI readiness, and data governance.

Enterprise Data Strategy

• Deliver scalable reporting and analytics solutions across multiple business functions.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives involving Finance, Operations, Commercial, Human Resources, Procurement, and Supply Chain.
• Drive enterprise data governance, data quality, master data management, and security initiatives.
• Establish standards for enterprise data architecture, reporting, metadata, and analytics best practices.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and advanced analytics.
• Manage Business Intelligence budgets, vendor relationships, and strategic technology investments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Engineering, or Data Management.
• 5+ years leading enterprise Business Intelligence organizations and technical teams.
• Proven experience developing and executing enterprise BI strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar enterprise data platforms.
• Advanced SQL and enterprise data warehousing expertise.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata management, and Master Data Management (MDM).
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Experience leading enterprise cloud migrations.
• Experience implementing AI or advanced analytics initiatives.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with Terraform, DevOps, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience supporting global organizations with distributed teams.
