Job summary

Idaho Youth Ranch seeks a Director, Behavioral Health and Quality to provide strategic and operational leadership across systems enabling the Behavioral Health division to deliver high quality, mission-aligned care. The role oversees risk, QA, and EHR initiatives while guiding staff development and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive leadership in behavioral health, healthcare operations, or related field.
• Experience overseeing quality assurance, compliance, or risk management in a clinical setting.
• Working knowledge of EHR systems and clinical technology platforms; EHR implementation experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Medicaid, Joint Commission, and Idaho licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and strategic direction to Clinical Risk and QA team.
• Lead the EHR team in maintenance, optimization, and development of the EHR platform.
• Supervise Learning & Development Manager and support training strategy for Behavioral Health staff.
• Develop and maintain reporting capabilities translating data into insights for decision-making.
• Represent Behavioral Health Operations in cross-functional initiatives including accreditation and quality efforts.
