Join to apply for the Director, B2B Product Marketing role at Cars Commerce.

We are seeking a strategic Director of B2B Marketing to lead the growth and market penetration of our acquisition, appraisal, inventory management, and digital retail solutions. This pivotal role will oversee the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies that drive demand and awareness of our products, and empower our Revenue teams to achieve ambitious revenue targets. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with a proven track record of success in B2B platform marketing, preferably in the automotive space, and skilled in managing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities
  • Focus on positioning, packaging, and market share growth across AccuTrade, Dealer Inspire, and DealerClub solutions.
  • Partner with the Director of Planning and Ops to develop dealer and OEM-focused audience segmentation, targeting, and campaign messages.
  • Lead all product marketing positioning, why buys, reasons to believe, and sales playbooks across solutions.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform strategic positioning and solutions offerings.
  • Work cross-functionally across Sales, Product, Design, Engineering, B2B & B2C Marketing, Research & Analytics, Data Insights, etc., to lead critical go-to-market initiatives.
  • Partner with the Senior Director of B2B Marketing to identify new revenue opportunities through cross-sell tactics.
  • Set and track KPIs to measure marketing effectiveness, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative analyses.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Product leaders for continuous product innovation, case studies, and positioning.
  • Represent our product marketing strategies at industry events like NADA in partnership with Corporate Communications & Events teams.
  • Recruit and retain top talent to support our growing team and evolving product portfolio.
Experience/Skills
  • 8+ years of B2B Marketing experience with success across multiple product lines or subbrands.
  • Experience in marketing digital retail solutions and platforms.
  • Combination of B2B and B2C experience.
  • Deep understanding of the digital media landscape; agency experience is a plus.
  • Strong storytelling and writing skills.
  • Strategic mindset with strong organizational leadership skills.
  • Ability to optimize processes effectively.

Salary Range: $149,800 - $187,250
