JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Director of Audience, Measurement and Insights to join our dynamic team at 7-Eleven leading the charge in shaping the future of Gulp Media Network. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a robust measurement strategy that drives data-driven decisions and delivers measurable results. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights, optimize campaign performance, and ensure that our measurement practices are cutting-edge and aligned with business goals. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop & Execute Measurement Strategy: Lead the development of a comprehensive measurement framework to assess the performance of retail media network campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall vendor business goals.
- Data Analytics & Insights: Lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of performance data across campaigns, customer behavior, and media touchpoints to generate actionable insights. Possess the expertise to analyze large, complex datasets—such as transactions, dayparts, SLINs, audiences, geographies, and store types—to uncover key takeaways, identify successes and challenges, and inform future strategies for continuous optimization.
- Performance Reporting: Design and implement automated reporting processes for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and establishing benchmarks for all Gulp Media ad products (including offsite, onsite, and in-store).
- Audience Targeting: Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure campaigns are strategically tailored for audience personalization, delivering the right message to the right audience at the optimal time.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal and external teams to ensure measurement solutions drive actionable insights across all retail media touchpoints.
- Data Integration & Infrastructure: Lead efforts to integrate retail media data with broader sales data, ensuring a holistic view of performance across various channels and platforms.
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate insights and recommendations to executive leadership, providing data-driven narratives that support strategic decision-making.
- Vendor & Tool Management: Manage relationships with third-party measurement vendors and tools, ensuring proper alignment with business needs and effective tool integration.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of analysts and agency teams, fostering a collaborative environment focused on growth, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Campaign Optimization: Leverage insights from previous campaigns to inform and refine future strategies, identifying strengths and opportunities for continuous improvement and enhanced performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant work experience to include 7+ years of experience in measurement, analytics, or performance marketing within the retail, media, or eCommerce space.
- 5+ years of experience leading and developing teams.
- Proven expertise in developing and implementing measurement strategies, analytics frameworks, and reporting systems.
- Deep knowledge of media measurement tools and platforms.
- Experience in leadership and team management, with the ability to mentor and inspire a team of analysts.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration and influential skills.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Nielsen, Circana, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel up to 20% domestically.
