The opportunity

Unity seeks a Director, Corporate and Securities to join its Legal team. You will provide legal support for corporate functions globally, working cross-functionally with teams such as legal, accounting, tax, treasury, investor relations, marketing, and HR. This role can be remote or based at one of our corporate offices.

What you'll be doing

• Lead public company compliance, including preparing disclosure documents and refining processes for compliance.
• Manage affiliate trading matters, including Section 16 reporting and 10b5-1 plans.
• Advise on corporate governance, develop board materials, and update policies.
• Support global equity programs, manage securities law requirements, and advise on structuring equity plans.
• Provide legal support for securities offerings, treasury activities, and intercompany agreements.
• Oversee compliance for 70 subsidiaries in over 20 countries.
• Manage securities litigation and advise on M&A or investment transactions.
• Manage a team of two direct reports and coordinate with outside counsel globally.

What we're looking for

• JD from an accredited law school.
• 8-10 years of experience in top law firm or corporate legal departments, specializing in corporate, securities, or capital markets law.
• Knowledge of public company financial reporting and securities law regulations.
• Ability to work with internal clients at all levels.
• Strong judgment, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Creative, strategic thinking and proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Independent work ethic and initiative.
• Business-focused mindset, curious, with a sense of humor.

You might also have

• In-house experience in advertising, enterprise software, internet, or high-tech industries.
