Job summary

Covenant Living in Carol Stream, IL, seeks a Director of Assisted Living to oversee daily operations and census development for our Assisted Living and Memory Care facilities. You will supervise AL staff, coordinate with the Clinical Coordinator and Healthcare Administrator, and ensure care delivery meets program standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• College degree in gerontology, dementia care, recreation therapy or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in assisted living or geriatric activity programming is required.
• Marketing experience is a plus, with strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, orient, train, schedule, monitor and evaluate AL staff.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, tours and inquiries; ensure service levels.
• Plan and facilitate activity and dementia care programming.
• Direct payroll, budget management and accounts.
• Lead marketing events and outside sales to generate inquiries.
• Ensure privacy and confidentiality of residents; comply with regulations.
• Participate in committees and risk management; supervise newsletter content.
